There was a man who came to Jesus and asked Him,
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22.35-40
This is the most Basic command in Bible, found in both the Old and the New Testament.
On that basis as Christians we cannot in any way condone the unrest and violent attacks on centres for asylum seekers, mosques and hotels in past few days. We should rebuke those who are responsible for this, and show compassion on those who are victims of the violence and thuggery.
I have worked most of my life in multi-racial schools in London and now am pastor of a multi racial fellowship in our area of London. We have helped the asylum claims of people from Afghanistan and Iran who have come to our fellowship and become Christians. We recognise that they would face persecution in their own countries as a result of intolerant Muslim regimes. We have also helped them to integrate into our society and will continue to do so. In turn they have become helpful members of our community. We believe that we should reach out to people of all faiths and backgrounds, in fulfilment of Jesus’ command to preach the Gospel to all people and to love our neighbour as ourself. On the race issue we should live by Martin Luther King’s dictum to judge people by the content of their character, not the colour of their skin.
We are multi racial, but we are not multi faith. So we would not be happy if people come in and, for example, want to turn us into Muslims. We had an incident once where someone tried to do this. We had an open time of prayer and this man started praying in a loud way to Allah, saying he wanted to bring his Muslim message to us. We told him to be quiet and listen to what we have to say and that we would discuss his issues after the service. He did not want this and went on to say that in the coming days we would have to become Muslims. As he would not stop, eventually we had to ask him to leave, which he was not happy about. We are happy for non believers to come to our meetings and happy to discuss issues of faith with anyone. We are not happy for them to try to change our community into one that advocates Islam, yoga or LGBT, or any other teaching that is contrary to the biblical Christian faith.
This is actually relevant to how we see the multi-cultural issue. We believe that we should accept people whatever race or culture they come from. But not that we should submit our culture and faith to them. That is actually what multi-culturalism is demanding from us. We are being pressured to surrender our culture, our faith to the culture of the new comers.
Melanie Phillips put her finger on the root of the problem in her article, ‘Britain’s multi-cultural disaster.’ I quote from her article:
“The murder last week of three little girls aged six, seven and nine at a school in Southport, in a stabbing attack by the British-born son of Rwandan immigrants which left several others injured, detonated the beginning of some of the most serious rioting seen in Britain for years. Inflamed by false accounts spread on social media that the attacker was a Syrian Muslim asylum-seeker and that he was on an MI6 watch list, violent mobs in Southport rioted, attacked a local mosque and left more than 50 police officers injured.

Since then, increasingly violent clashes have ensued in around a dozen cities as anti-immigrant mobs attacked mosques and horrifyingly tried to set fire to a hostel for asylum-seekers, with Muslim mobs in turn seeking out white people to attack.
This is the result of years of ignoring the incendiary twin developments of mass immigration and progressive Islamisation, which I wrote about in my 2006 book Londonistan and which have got so much worse since then.“
Melanie then lists some of the terror attacks and attempts to intimidate any who offend the Muslims, including the incident of the teacher in Batley, West Yorkshire, went into hiding for his life in 2021 after showing an image of Muhammad to his pupils in a lesson about the limits of free speech; he is still in hiding. She says,
“These and other such incidents are never discussed honestly. The issue of Muslim aggression that underlies them is ignored or censored. Problems with Islamic religion or culture are regarded as taboo. Anyone who does speak plainly about such matters is immediately hung out to dry as “right-wing” or “far-right”, the incoherent labels that are fixed onto anyone who contradicts left-wing dogma in order to stigmatise and silence them as social pariahs.

This is not to excuse what has happened in the current riots. The anti-immigrant violence has been appalling. But this is a tinderbox that has been under construction for years by successive administrations, starting with Tony Blair’s government which set out to transform the country into a multicultural society through mass immigration.
Multiculturalism is not the template for a tolerant society. Tolerance of other cultures and ethnicities should be a given in any civilised country. Multiculturalism, by contrast, is a doctrine which says all cultures must be deemed to have values that are no better or worse than any other.’ Multiculturalism therefore makes it impossible for a western society to require new arrivals to conform to its precepts such as equality for women, freedom of speech and tolerance of minorities.
It is therefore a recipe for the destruction of the west — and indeed of society itself, since it effectively produces tribes warring against each other for power and supremacy, creating divisions which destroy a unified society. Far from producing racial harmony, multiculturalism is a formula for racial and ethnic hatred and worse.
For years, some of us warned that the wilful destruction of British and western culture, the deliberate concealment of what was happening and the denigration and harassment of anyone who objected would not only destroy social cohesion but risked a violent backlash from neo-Nazis, and agitators of various stripes alongside ordinary people who had simply had enough. That’s what we’re now seeing playing out on the streets of Britain.“
The government labels all those who are taking part in the riots as ‘far right.’ Some of them may be, but there are a growing number of people, who do not take part in riots, but who are saying ‘enough is enough.’ They recognise that you cannot keep bringing in a population the size of Nottingham every year, without doing damage to the people who have lived here for generations. And people are fed up with it.
The sight of Keir Starmer and Yvette Cooper coming on TV with robotic speeches condemning right wing thuggery and threatening draconian prison sentences, will only make matters worse. They show a total inability to understand the problem. The new Labour government has to recognise that there is a growing resentment to the preferential treatment being given to new immigrants over the settled population, particularly amongst the people who are its natural constituents, the white working class in northern towns and cities. People see their culture and way of life being constantly put down.
It is hard to find housing, especially for young people, while migrants are often given housing straight away. Sometimes whites find themselves discriminated against in job opportunities which have quotas favouring non white over the white population.
In this new order, the established British culture, backed by a respect for Christianity and the Bible has to take an equal place or second place to the cultures of other lands, which have no traditional association with these islands. We see a constant doing down of British history and culture, with left wing dogmas being imposed upon us, including Critical Race Theory and the Cancel Culture. This has become part of the Marxist agenda to change the values of our society and impose a new form of totalitarianism which denies people the right to oppose it. In its rejection of traditional British culture, it seeks to make all white people feel guilty because of past racism and slavery in our history.
This fails to recognise the role British Christians played in bringing slavery to an end, and never condemns the role Arab Muslims played in black African slavery. Places where modern slavery are practised, including forced labour, debt bondage, forced marriage, slavery and human trafficking are generally located in Muslim and African countries. Critical Race Theory has nothing to say about this. The reason so many people want to come to the UK is because of our tradition of generosity and tolerance and a desire to escape from oppressive and violent regimes in Africa and the Middle East.
The first month of the Labour government looks like they will continue to move further down the route of imposing this way of thinking on us. This is backed by the controlling influence that has now been established over the much of the media (the BBC in particular), the education system, the universities in particular, the judiciary and the police, the civil service and much of the established church and charities / NGOs. Ironically this takeover of our institutions increased during the 14 years of supposedly right wing Tory rule, although it has to be said that one of the reasons for the collapse of the Conservative Party in the last election was the surrender they made to so much of the change agenda during their time in power.
Now that Labour has a huge majority in parliament, it looks like there is no way out of this process, leaving people who don’t want it feeling alienated and resentful. They see so much of our culture, cities and way of life being trashed, but have no power to do anything about it. They may turn to the Reform party as 14% of people who voted did in the last election, but they are unlikely to get anywhere near real power. The result will be the increase in violence and extremism, leading to the civil strife that we are now seeing taking place. That is not to justify violence and civil strife, but unless the government takes steps to address the root cause of the problem by a drastic cut back in immigration, there will be no end to it.
Going back to Melanie Phillips article, she writes:

It is the profound sense of injustice and double standards that has finally ignited the already combustible public resentment over race and immigration, and enabled neo-fascist and other agitators to exploit this situation. Starmer’s strictures against “right-wing thugs” are in stark contrast to the solidarity he expressed with the Black Lives Matter anti-police, anti-west, anti-white rioters in 2020 who destroyed poor neighbourhoods in Portland, Oregon, USA and elsewhere — and to whom he actually “took the knee” and proudly tweeted the picture.“
We should note that the Black Lives Matter riots caused massive destruction of property in America and led to the ‘defund the police’ movement, which left poor inner city communities at the mercy of gangsters and criminals and led to the current conditions of lawlessness and chaos in many of America’s great cities.

“Liberal commentators tolerate demonstrators screaming for jihad, the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews on the weekly pro-Gaza hate marches. The harassment and intimidation perpetrated by many demonstrators and the calls on these marches for the mass murder of Jews and for the destruction of Israel are all against the law. Yet with few exceptions, there’s been relatively no police action against them.

We can surely predict what will now unfold. Mass, uncontrolled immigration will continue, with an increasing collapse of social cohesion, escalating Muslim demands and intimidation and yet more double standards and demonisation of critics. This will create a further backlash which will include serious anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim violence. The government and police will continue to enforce a one-eyed approach, acknowledging only such white violence and ignoring legitimate public concerns.
The issue of Muslim antisemitism, at eye-watering levels but already hard to discuss without being smeared as an “Islamophobe”, will become unmentionable. With the media and other liberals in sanctimonious support, Muslims will increasingly wrap themselves in the mantle of victimhood and insist upon draconian moves against “Islamophobia”. This will lead to an increasing crackdown on anyone trying to draw attention to these issues, and will be used by the Starmer government as a useful weapon to silence its political foes. This social disaster now under way is owned by the west’s entitled liberals, whose arrogant disdain for the culture they have so wilfully ruined knows no bounds.“
The response so far suggests that the government will move in the direction of imposing control through clamping down on opposition, leading to a potential police state emerging. Already there are plans to bring in laws on Islamophobia which may prohibit us from saying things critical of Islamic beliefs or practice. Muslims are actively attacking Christianity in their outreach programmes. If you talk to any Muslim evangelists on the street and you will soon find them attacking basic Christian beliefs about the deity of Jesus Christ and the meaning of His death and resurrection. You will also find them teaching horrible things about the Jews and calls for their eradication.
We are willing to defend our faith and discuss these issues with Muslims, but in the process we also need to point out the errors in Islam. Will we then be forbidden to defend our faith and expose the errors in the Quran and basic Muslim texts, as well as protest against Muslim persecution of Christians, support of violent terrorism, oppression of women and intolerance towards non Muslims living in their midst?
As Islamists and leftists join together in a constant assault on Israel, denying the right of the Jewish state to exist in the Middle East, will we be able to defend Israel and the Jewish community from those who openly state their goal of eliminating Israel?
This current unrest and violence by far right groups is no help in defending our right to keep our way of life and defend our faith. In fact it could be the way in which we lose more of our basic freedoms in a growing control by the government labelling opposition to illegal migration as far right and racist. The Nazis used the burning of the Reichstag (parliament building in Berlin) in 1933 to suppress the Communists and opposition in the early years of Hitler’s power. So the socialists and multiculturalists in the UK may use this unrest to bring a greater degree of social control upon us. It may only allow one ideology to be preached (theirs) and continue to put down traditional British culture, history, values and Christian faith.

We should also recognise that there is a globalist agenda in the whole migration issue. A film made in USA called ‘Weapons of Mass Migration’ made by Joshua Philip came to the conclusion that the UN and US government are complicit in helping huge numbers of illegal migrants into the country in accordance with UN Migration Pact. According to attorney, Alex Newman, the primary goal is to facilitate massive migratory flows to undermine and dismantle the sovereignty of the nation state.
According to the UN, migration is inevitable, necessary and desirable. Replacement migration is required to bolster declining native birth rates and to undermine ‘national homogeneity’ and create a multi-cultural state. You then undermine people’s attachment to their nation, its history, culture and dominant religion. This facilitates the emergence of regional governance followed by global governance which is the ultimate objective. The film shows Barack Obama advocating this, when he was President speaking to the UN. He said, ‘I am convinced that in the long term, giving up some freedom of action, binding ourselves to international rules in the long term enhances our security.’ Joshua Philipp claims US citizens are being kept in ignorance about all this and how it is moving towards the collapse of the west and a global governance backed by the UN and sinister powers behind the scenes.
This trend is also happening in Europe as mass migration, especially from the Middle East and Africa, changes the nature of our societies. Tensions are rising in the UK and across the continent as governments are unable to stem the flow of migrants crossing borders in boats and on foot. Those who resist this are accused of being ‘far right’ and racists, but many claim they just want to protect their culture and values against an experiment imposed on them by governments and mainstream media. This constantly promotes the virtue of diversity and downgrades traditional moral values based on Christianity.
There is a view that this is part of the globalist agenda. Our new government led by Keir Starmer may well be in the forefront of leading us in this direction. In his speech outside Downing Street on taking up office Starmer kept using the word ‘reset’ to describe what he has in mind for the UK. The Great Reset is the buzzword used by the World Economic Forum in its goal of transforming our society to fit in with the UN’s Agenda 30 by 2030.
One of the leading lights in this programme is Klaus Schwab who has advocated this ‘Great Reset’ proposed by World Economic Forum. This brings together leaders of government, industry, media and education, to work for a global solution to global problems. Schwab says this will

In other words, his ‘Great Reset’ is an updated blueprint for the New World Order and world government. In his book ‘Covid 19 – the Great Reset’, he wrote of the need

The short response is: never. … Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a Great Reset of capitalism … for global leaders to shape the future state of global relations, the direction of national economies, the priorities of societies, the nature of business models and the management of a global common interests.”

Is Kier Starmer supportive of all this? I think he is. Was using the word “reset” in his opening speech at Downing Street an accident with no significance or a sign to the globalists that he is onside with the agenda? Some time ago in a TV interview with Emily Maitlis he said has was a big fan of Davos and sees himself working with the World Economic Forum in the future. In fact he said he would rather be in Davos than the House of Commons. In January he sent a number of his big hitters including Rachel Reeves now Chancellor of the Exchequer to Davos to build up links with the WEF. He also criticised Rishi Sunak for not visiting Davos.
The WEF is one of the significant organisations working on the globalisation and world government programme. It has influence in business and political circles and the media and its subscribers are really the new establishment busy taking control of our institutions and pushing them in the liberal left / diversity agenda everything is going in our society. Basically they have control or significant influence in most of our institutions, TV media, BBC, CNN, Euronews, Reuters, also the universities, judiciary, police, even the church. People holding competing views, especially right wing, nationalist views and biblical Christians who want traditional moral values and oppose the woke agenda find themselves pushed out and silenced in favour of the multi-national, multi-cultural, multi faith agenda.
We can also be sure that this Labour government will be more than willing to submit to elements of the Muslim agenda which threaten our freedom and our future. I watched a video of Keir Starmer talking to London mayor, Sadiq Kahn, in which Kahn requested him to use his position and legal experience to push for an extension of laws on Islamophobia. Logically this could mean that we will not be able to make critical statements about the Muslim religion and the Koran.
Starmer has appointed Shabana Mahmoud, a Muslim woman as Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice. She supports the Free Palestine rallies. To have a Muslim in charge of our justice system is concerning, especially if they move towards laws on Islamophobia. Starmer’s choice for Attorney General, the country’s legal chief, is human rights lawyer Richard Hermer KC, of Matrix Chambers. He is liberal Jewish, but he has co-authored books accusing Israel of being an apartheid state, supports BDS (boycott of Israeli goods) and previously represented IRA leader Gerry Adams.
Both Keir Starmer and new Foreign Secretary David Lammy have taken a moderately sympathetic position on Israel, but have also become more and more critical as the Gaza war continues. They are now cutting off any arms supplies to Israel, as Israel faces the threat of genocidal war against its people from Islamist terrorists surrounding it. David Lammy has said he supports the ICC ruling to arrest PM Netanyahu for war crimes. We can expect them to come under more pressure on this issue from anti-Israel influences in parliament.
Labour already making plans to bring us into closer union with EU and undo Brexit, without actually joining. They have scrapped the Rwanda plan but put nothing in its place, so now refugees lining up to cross channel, believing they will get a good deal from Labour Britain. We won’t be able to house and feed and employ them, but we won’t be able to stop them coming.
A speech given by a young Dutch woman, Eva Vlaardingerbroek at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Hungary has created a storm in Europe and is now facing censorship as Hate Speech in the media. Here are some of the things she said:

Huntington predicted this over 25 years ago, when he wrote, in the new world of mass migration, the most pervasive, important, and dangerous conflicts will not be between the social classes. They will not be between the rich and the poor. They will be between peoples belonging to different cultural entities.
She goes on to describe how our society has already given up in the battle to preserve its identity and has accepted defeat. She asks,

Good sentiments, but I doubt that this is going to happen. Instead we may soon find ourselves in a situation in which biblical Christianity is suppressed and anti Christian forces of Marxism and Islamism and New Age globalism grow stronger in our society. We need to stand firm in the Gospel, recognising that these are the last days of this age which Jesus said would be ‘as in the days of Noah’, when the earth was filled with violence and every imagination of the heart of man was only evil continually.
We need to remember that Jesus meant it when He said,
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14.6
Also, even if we do find ourselves a small remnant church surrounded by a sea of apostasy and rebellion against God, we have the greater power on our side and He will win the battle in the end. We look to the coming return of the Lord to save His people and set up His kingdom.
