Evidence of the ‘strong delusion’ scheduled to come upon humanity in the last days of this age (2 Thessalonians 2) heralding the coming of the Antichrist and the return of the true Messiah Jesus. As a result people will believe the lie and be damned, while those who accept the truth in Jesus will be saved.
Tony gives some examples of the strong delusion coming on humanity, including the ‘woke’ agenda affecting western nations, the rise of Islam and other religions replacing Christianity, Trump’s MAGA programme and the dictatorships of Russia and China.
He also shows how we can resist all this by accepting the truth of the Bible, believing the Gospel and allowing God to renew our minds and put within us the ‘Mind of Christ’ (Philippians 2, Romans 12). We receive this by knowing the Word of God and being filled with the Holy Spirit as Jesus promised His disciples in John 14-17.
Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
