Amen. So we see a lot of signs that Jesus is coming.
We see a lot of things happening in the world which line up with Bible prophecy. Not just in the Middle East; it’s happening in Russia with the Ukraine conflict which is also escalating in its danger. The Ukraine wants to fire missiles which it has got from the West into Russia. Russia says that, if Ukraine does, then they would see that as the West declaring war on them.
That’s a very dangerous situation there.
We also see lot of signs taking place elsewhere. I don’t know if anyone watched the Olympic ceremonies, before and afterwards. The Opening ceremony was a blasphemous attack on Jesus Christ, on the Lord’s last supper, and the closing ceremony was even worse. It was a celebration of evil. You saw a figure coming down who looked like a demon and, you had people worshiping him in a representation of antichrist worship. It was quite staggeringly demonic.
I’ll be saying a bit about that in the prophecy talk next week but you see these negative things happening and people can get afraid and they get wonder what what’s going to happen to our world.
Basically, what is going to happen is that Jesus is going to come back again. He is the only hope, He’s going to sort out the mess which humans have made of the world. And that’s what I believe. And that’s what I preach because it’s the only hope we have for this world today.
And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Luke 21.24-28
