What are the solutions being proposed to the present social crisis?

So, what’s the answer? The only answer is what Isaiah says in verses 16 to 20. Turn back to the Lord:

¹⁶ “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.
Cease to do evil,
¹⁷ Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Rebuke the oppressor;
Defend the fatherless,
Plead for the widow.

¹⁸ “Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.
¹⁹ If you are willing and obedient,
You shall eat the good of the land;
²⁰ But if you refuse and rebel,
You shall be devoured by the sword”;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. Isaiah 1:16-20

So, God says here there are two choices before you, just like Jesus says there are two paths in front of you.

There is one road which leads to destruction which is the broad road which many people are on

And there is a narrow road which leads to life and there are few who find it.

¹³ “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. ¹⁴ Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7:13-14

You’ve got to make a choice to decide which road you want to be on. Isaiah says that, if you’re willing and obedient, you’ll eat the good of the land, but if you’re disobedient, then, you’ll face the sword and destruction.

So, it’s a very clear choice and Isaiah makes it very clear. It’s the same choice which we are facing today, the choice facing us in this nation. And I believe (I don’t want to sound too much like ‘doom and gloom’) but I believe that, in many ways, this nation is staring at a huge crisis, even staring down the abyss. It’s very clear that things are going to get worse, in my opinion, much much worse, before they get better.

Unfortunately, Sir Keir (to give him his full title) doesn’t have an answer. He doesn’t have an answer because, first of all, he’s an atheist. So, if the problems have to do with God, if you’re an atheist, you’re not going to be able to put things back on the right direction.

He has got various left-wing socialist political ideas some of which you may agree with, but some of which you may not. He is not going to turn us back to God unless he has a miraculous conversion, in which case he would soon be booted out from his present position, because you can’t be a Bible-believing Christian in that situation without facing huge opposition.

In fact, you have to say that this present government, as is most of Parliament, is mostly anti-Christian, mostly Godless, mostly favouring what we call ‘the woke agenda’, with a large majority in place with which it can take over our institutions.

Now I’m getting a bit political here but, during the years of the Tory rule the institution of this country have been taken over by what I call left-wing woke establishment ruled by the diversity and multicultural agenda that is fundamentally antichristian that’s what destroyed the country’s foundations.

Obviously, a left-wing, woke government is not going to restore those foundations. It has happened with the BBC, the media, the education system, especially with the universities, the Civil Service, much of the local government, the Judiciary, the Police, and even much of the traditional Church, even a part of the conservative Party.

So, one of the problems is that the Conservative Party itself which is supposed to conserve what is right (I suppose) in society, has gone the wrong way.

Who brought in the gay marriage Law? David Cameron. And you’ve seen the Tories are actually abandoning so many principles to things which they shouldn’t be doing and it’s what’s happened. Even royalty suffers from the same changes.

Now, the Queen – God bless her – believed the Bible and believed in Christian values, but Charles is definitely not a believer in Christ. Charles is open to the alternative agenda and wants to bring it in.

So, we have to face the situation that it’s probably not going to get better.

One interesting thing which I think I have mentioned here before was that, when Sir Keir Starmer stood outside to 10 Downing Street on the election day, he said, and I quote,

There are two words which stand out in that speech: the word ‘reset’, and the word ‘change’. They are two specifically used buzzwords which are being applied to our society not just by people in power but also by people behind the ones in power who want to change it into something called ‘The Great Reset’.

In fact, if you followed Keir Starmer around during the week after the election, he kept using this word ‘reset’ when he went to Northern Ireland, to Wales, to Scotland, when he went to NATO. He kept using these words: ‘we need a reset of this country‘. Was he actually trying to signify something?

I’ve written quite a lot about this in Light for Last Days magazine. About the activities of an organization which you may have heard of called the World Economic Forum.

The WEF is a group which brings together politicians, economics, education, media, all these kind of guys. They have a big conference at a place called Davos, and their goal is a ‘reset of society’. There was a man called Klaus Schwab, one of the one of the leaders, he wrote a book at the time of the Covid crisis called ‘Covid-19, the Great Reset’ in which he called for a reset of global capitalism, some form of effective Global Governance meant to create

In other words, if you read between the lines, it is an updated blueprint for the New World Order and World Government which begs the question was Sir Keir Starmer actually tapping into it? Is he part of it? Well, we know that he is a big fan of it. A few years ago, I think it was in 2023, he as interviewed by Emily Maitlis on TV where he said how much he appreciated participation in the 2023 Davos event. He even said that he preferred being in Davos to being in Parliament, in Westminster because “it’s a better place to get things done”.

So, Starmer saw that as a place where you get things done and he wants to be part of it. He sent Rachel Reeves to the latest Davos conference and he criticized Rishi Sunak for not going there.

Now, interestingly our next speaker Graham Bridger is an expert on this subject, and I just read his latest email which quote

Now, how can I explain this? It’s part of a Liberal Progressive world view which applies not just to politics but also to public morality. It’s very much pro-LGBT and pro-diversity issues because it wants to break down traditional Christian values and replace them with something quite different.

It’s anti-nationalism, so it doesn’t like people who are patriotic or nationalist, who like their country. It wants people to live into a globalist framework where we’re all together and ‘we’re all one’, and we don’t need to have countries which means we actually need to have, in the end, a One World Government without sovereign nations.

Therefore, anybody who’s fiercely patriotic and wants to do good for Great Britain (or for France or for Germany) is out of order. In fact, generally, if they do that, they’re regarded as far-right which is the latest insult for anybody who goes against the agenda of the New World Order.

You see that Keir Starmer has been using this accusation of people being far-right particularly after the terrible riots which took place in the Southport terrible stabbings and the riots which followed in which people who were termed far-right because went and attacked Muslims and mosques and so on performing acts which are totally disgraceful and racist, and absolutely deplorable.

The problem is that there is another part of the agenda which is a far-left agenda which has its own objectives on this whole subject. Again, how can I explain this to you without you thinking that I’m being racist (which I’m not)? I believe that we should all be one in Christ Jesus and we should accept people as they are.

Now, on August the 7th, which was the date when they brought all the people together to protest against the stabbings, there was a leaflet which was put out by far-right groups to come together to protest outside of asylum centers. It listed about 100 centers in this country and several places were chosen, including Finchley.

So, as we live down the road from Finchley, I decided with Barbara to go along and see what was happening. I took a few of our leaflets to give out to the people there, to give out to the far-right people and to the other people who were demonstrating. Well, I couldn’t give them out to the far-right because they didn’t turn up, there were absolutely zero people.

I couldn’t give pamphlets out to the far-left because they spent the whole time chanting “Nazis-scum off our streets. Refugees welcome here” etc., etc. So, they were just chanting and there really wasn’t much communication.

I got out a few pamphlets to bystanders and had a couple of conversations but, generally, one had to notice that the far-right didn’t turn up. There were people mainly waving banners printed by the Socialist Workers Party. So what’s the Socialist Workers Party? Well, it’s a Trotskyite Communist group.

Before I became a Christian, I used to be involved in the far-left and we used to go and speak to these guys and talk to the Socialist Workers and to the Communist Party of Great Britain. We noticed that they had an agenda, all of them. They were trying to use the racial discrimination issue and immigration as a platform to institute their program.

They would try to get non-white people on board, immigrants, and say that ‘we’re defending you against those horrible racists and we’re going to make a better society for you’. Actually, they just wanted to use them in their attack on established society. They weren’t really interested in the welfare of the immigrants. They were interested in using them for their Marxist left-wing agenda which was to put down everybody who didn’t conform to what they wanted it to be.

Now, it was interesting that in the atmosphere of this meeting, I thought was quite hostile and there also both far-left and Muslims coming together against the far-right. There was a leaflet which was put out by a group called Finchley Against Fascism which said, “racists, homophobes, Islamophobes, and Zionists out of Finchley”.

Okay, racists out of Finchley, homophobes. Who are homophobes? People who don’t agree with homosexuality >>> get them out of Finchley. Islamophobes people are critical of Islam >>> get them out of Finchley. And Zionist people who actually support the existence of the state of Israel >>> get them out of Finchley.

So, you’ve got a whole lot of people there who shouldn’t be living in Finchley and certainly I think I qualify for being in 3 of them groups. Not that I’m an Islamophobe, I’m not phobic in the sense that I hold hatred against Muslims or against homosexuals, but I do disagree with their programmes and I will be critical of it and continue to be so.

They were also quite aggressive. I mean, at another demonstration, apparently there was a man called Ricky Jones who said the opposition, “They’re disgusting Nazi fascists and we need to cut their throats”. Then someone started singing and shouting “Free, free Palestine” and everyone joined in.

So, there seems to be some connection between ‘slitting the throats’ of Nazis and supporting the Palestinians against the Israelis. You have this kind of not so nice, not so much ‘peace and love’ people are saying, aggressive and violent.

Melanie Phillips, who is a Jewish journalist – a very clever lady – said

I would agree with that. She also said,

You agree with most of that and the crackdown on the opposition, labelling them as far-right, is to shut them out it and this will include Bible-believing Christians. I’m not saying that we have the same mentality as racists and thugs, absolutely not, I’m totally opposed to them, but because of our view that multiculturalism is actually not the right approach, because we believe that Jesus Christ meant it when he said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me“, and Jesus made the statement very specifically that ‘He came to bear witness to the truth, and that everyone who is of the truth, hears His voice‘. if he’s of

The opposition to Jesus Christ must be of the non-truth, and we have to affirm Jesus Christ. We can’t say that all roads are leading to the same way because they’re not authentic. Christianity is opposed to racism and violence against minority groups, but we’re also opposed to elements of the anti-racist groups especially when allied to the Islamist and far-right agenda.

They’re the people who’ve got the real power the far-right groups they can do lots of damage, they can make lots of nasty things on the streets, and they can be really horrible people, and I’m not defending them. But but the far-left have got influence in almost all of the controlled situations in this country and they can then impose their will upon us so that we can’t resist them.

We have things which have arisen now which we see as a constant downgrading of our history, the English history of this country, and the culture of this country with dogmas being exposed especially upon our youth, including the Critical Race Theory and the ‘cancel culture’.

This is actually leading to kind of leftist agenda which wants to change the values of society and impose on us a new form of totalitarianism which seeks to control what you can think and what you can believe and it’s coming into every area.

Now, I found an extraordinary article in the Daily Telegraph. Okay, that’s a right-wing paper; so, you shouldn’t read it? Maybe, but it says it had information about the way education is becoming the indoctrination teachers who will be taught ‘to challenge whiteness’ in lessons.

What does that mean? The term ‘whiteness’ in Critical Race Theory refers to social attitudes considered normal by white people. So, you’ve got to educate people to think that values which are considered normal by white people are racist, and you’ve got to educate them against them.

Does that sound sensible to you? The documents state that teachers, if they happen to be white, should also be helped to project a positive white racial identity. The process may involve more references to colonialism and racism in lessons, and instilling the understanding of the impact of whiteness. In other words, you have got to apologize for being white, you have to apologize for the British Empire and you have to apologize for past racism.

What’s that part of? It’s part of a change in the way of thinking. They’re not concerned about the welfare of blacks and people of other races, they’re concerned about changing the agenda so that we don’t think the way we used to. They want people to be ashamed of being white because of past sins against non-white people.

Now, the fact is one has to say that, up until recently, almost 100% of the population of these islands were white. It may upset some people to hear this, but it’s true, isn’t it? We descended, most of the people in this country are descended from the Celts, the Saxons, the Vikings, the Normans, from different tribes that invaded at different times and often oppressed and killed each other, and then ended up sort of living together and even intermarrying, and lost their individual cultural identities, apart from the Celts who went to Wales and Cornwall and preserve their Celtic identity.

As a result, the dominant culture for all this time has been based on white racial identity not because of false nations, of superiority, but just because of history and geography. It’s just how it happened.

Now, in the interest of Critical Race Theory, we’ve got to erase this. What’s also significant is that the dominant culture, throughout the last thousand years, has been some form of Christianity, not always helpful forms of Christianity, but at least Christianity. So, part of the idea if you’re going to change the culture, you have to change Christianity and get rid of Christianity.

Can you see how all this is not just about relations, it’s about changing the way people think, and it’s about changing the agenda and basically destroying the foundations of society. It’s happening all over the Western world, it’s happening in America. In fact, I found something even worse in America.

Have you heard of Kamala Harris? She ran president along with Tim Waltz who was her deputy. Tim Waltz proposed during the campaign that Minnesota schools adopt what was effectively a ban on Christians, Jews, and believing Muslims from teaching in public schools.

Waltz was once a high school, social studies teacher who sponsored a student queer sex club in 1999. Starting next July, Minnesota agencies controlled by Waltz’s appointees will require teacher license applicants to affirm transgenderism and Marxism. Without a teacher license, individuals cannot work in Minnesota Public Schools nor in the private schools that require such licenses.

Versions of the regulations require teachers to affirm students’ gender identity and sexual orientation to receive a teaching license. Not only that, teachers already in teaching have to reaffirm their license every 5 years. So, they’ve got to also affirm students’ right to choose their own gender and sex, and their sexual orientation. If you criticize the regulations in any way, then, you can’t serve as a teacher in the school. You’ve got to affirm all the Marxist, race, sexual orientation stuff as well.

Can you see what that means? That means that, actually, the people are going to do the teaching of the children have to be in line with the state ideology which is now anti-Christian. And if you don’t conform to it, you’re kicked out. It’s pretty much like Soviet Union was.

And you can see that we’re in great danger in the Western World of attacking the foundations of society as they should be, which would be based on biblical foundations, and replacing them with some kind of distorted humanism, Marxism, and social engineering which is going to be anti-Christian.

Sometimes, it means that if you’re righteous and if you want to teach you get cancelled. I mean, I I used to be a teacher. I don’t think I would get into teaching now. I wouldn’t be able to do it because so much is against my principles. But that’s what this is coming to.

You’re going to see that the righteous will be pushed out of society and out of taking their part in the social order.
