He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. This is telling us that Jesus was there at the beginning. He has always been there. All things were created through Him. He is before all things. In other words, He is before the creation, He has existed from eternity to eternity. Therefore, He is God.– Tony Pearce
