We got to the Mount of Olives. We went to the Chapel of the Ascension which is on the top of the Mount of Olives. It’s a little building and it’s a church, but it’s also a mosque. You’ve got Christians and Muslims joining together there.

In fact, while we were in the chapel the loudspeakers cranked up and someone started ‘Allah akbarring’ at the top of his voice and as they always do.

And so, we sat in the chapel singing ‘He is Lord, glorified risen, and ascended; Jesus is Lord’ and made a ‘joyful noise’ unto the Lord to try and drown up the Allah Akbar.
Then, there were three Arabs at the door who had led us in. So, I went up and talked to them and said, ‘You know that Jesus is coming back to this place, don’t you?’

One of them said, ‘Maybe.’ And then he said, ‘Well, he could be coming back to Damascus’, which is what it says in the Hadith and the Muslim faith, that Jesus will come back to Damascus and then he’ll Islamise the world for around, I think, 40 years, and then he’ll die having converted the world to Islam.

I said, ‘No, it’s not like that. He has already come, and He is coming back to judge the world.’ And I gave him the whole spiel about the Second Coming, about Jesus, and why He came, and gave him a copy of Light for the Last Days magazine which he was pleased to receive.

Whether he reads it or not, I don’t know, but it was a good opportunity.
God loves the Arabs as well as the Jews. We just had this chance to speak to them about Yeshua / Jesus the Messiah.
